Site development for a 30 acre shopping center in Danville,
Kentucky. Project involved conceptual and final development
plan preparation, site and utility layout, preparation of
construction plans and specifications, contract administration,
permitting and municipal approvals, and traffic signal plans.
Project also involved the coordination with relocating (2)
high pressure gas transmission lines and a city water main
to allow for commercial entrance into development. Computer
drafted renderings were also created for viewing during
zone change hearings. A complete traffic impact analysis
was also prepared to justify the need for a traffic signal
for entrance to development. |

the design of access roads and deceleration lanes for Celotex's
Carrollton, KY gypsum plant. Responsibilities included the
coordination with highway department on attaining permits
for realigning an existing state road to accommodate the truck
traffic produced by the gypsum plant and production of construction
plans and estimates. |

Project management services for construction projects at 17 Exxon stores in the Nashville area. Projects involved upgrading tanks to meet new EPA regulations that take effect in December 1998. As project manager, Palmer's duties included monitoring day-to-day site activities, observing equipment tests, approving final acceptance of project, and approving contractor's invoices. |
