We inspect Small, Medium, and Major Span Bridges that cross rivers and roadways. These bridge types include but are not limited to Truss, Tie-Arch, Cable-Stayed, Suspension, Steel I-beam, Prestressed Concrete I-Beam, Tub/Box Girders, Arch, and Timber Bridges. In order to access certain areas, we often utilize access mechanical equipment such as boom lifts / manlifts that extend up to 150 feet and Snooper trucks that reach up to 65 feet under a bridge. When the mechanical equipment does not provide us the required access necessary, we will utilize ladders and bridge climbing techniques to access those specific areas. Due to high traffic volumes and limited number of traffic lanes in some areas, temporary traffic lane closures are limited to nighttime hours; we utilize generators and lights to perform these nighttime inspections.
