Palmer Engineers Volunteer at UK’s Summer Engineering Exploration Kamp

Members of the Palmer Engineering team recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the University of Kentucky’s Summer Engineering Exploration Kamp (SEEK), a program designed for rising high school seniors interested in exploring careers in engineering.

During the camp, students engaged in a variety of hands-on activities, including building and load testing towers, bridges, and concrete slabs. Palmer team members worked alongside the students, offering guidance on structural design principles and sharing real-world insights into the engineering profession.

The camp provided an excellent opportunity to connect with the next generation of problem solvers and innovators. Palmer Engineering is proud to support programs like SEEK that inspire young people to pursue careers in engineering and continue the tradition of building strong, resilient communities.
