Congratulations to Alex Aylor-Ibarra and the Lipscomb University Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering Concrete Canoe Team on making program history at the ASCE Civil Engineering Student Championships!
The team earned its first-ever Top 10 finish, placing 9th overall among some of the nation's top engineering programs. They also secured an impressive 3rd-place finish in the Technical Presentation competition, showcasing not only their engineering skills but also their ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
We're especially proud of Alex, a member of Palmer's Nashville office and a 2026 Lipscomb University graduate, who served as team captain.
This remarkable achievement reflects months of hard work, innovation and teamwork, and we're honored to have Alex as part of the Palmer team.
