Advancing a Build-Ready Future in Campbellsville, Kentucky

The City of Campbellsville and Taylor County (Kentucky) are taking a major step forward in positioning their community for economic growth. In 2025, both entities received a grant to support the development of a 150,000-square-foot pad-ready build site within the Heartland Commerce and Technology Park. The site has already earned a prestigious Gold-Level designation from the Site Selectors Guild, highlighting its readiness to attract new industry and investment.

Palmer Engineering was recently selected by the Campbellsville – Taylor County Economic Development Authority to support this initiative through the Build Ready Site project. The firm will lead the design of the 150,000-square-foot industrial pad on a 15-acre site, along with critical infrastructure improvements needed to support future development.

Project components include a roadway extension, approximately 1,000 linear feet of water main, and 1,700 linear feet of sanitary sewer. In addition to civil engineering design, Palmer Engineering will provide environmental assessment, as well as construction bidding and inspection services to help ensure the project is delivered efficiently and effectively.

This effort is supported by a strong team of partners, including Urban Fabric (architectural services), S&ME (geotechnical engineering), and Dabney Engineering & Land Surveying (surveying). Together, the team is working to deliver a high-quality, build-ready site that will enhance the region’s competitiveness and support long-term economic development.
