Exploring Engineering: Free STEM Activities for Students
As part of National Engineers Week, Palmer Engineering is excited to share a new Exploring Engineering webpage featuring a collection of free, classroom-friendly engineering activities designed for preschool through elementary students.
The Exploring Engineering webpage brings together a variety of hands-on resources designed to make engineering easy to understand and fun for young learners. The new webpage includes printable activity books, hands-on STEM challenges, and kid-friendly worksheets that introduce students to civil engineering concepts in a fun and approachable way. Through activities focused on bridges, roads, and clean water systems, students can begin to understand how engineering plays an important role in their everyday lives.
These resources are designed to be easy to use in classrooms or at home, making them a great fit for teachers, families, and community groups. All activities are available at no cost and can be downloaded and shared freely.
We hope these activities help spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and inspire students to explore how engineers help build and support the communities around them.
