Explore Engineering: Bridges – Palmer Engineering's New Activity Book for Young Learners

We're excited to introduce our newest Explore Engineering: Bridges activity book! Designed for elementary-aged students, the book follows Palmer Engineering's own Penny and Parker as they explore how bridges connect people, places, and communities through fun, hands-on activities.

Inside, young learners can:

  • Solve bridge-themed activities

  • Practice math with real-world bridge measurements

  • Learn about different bridge materials and structures

  • Learn about Kentucky's tallest bridge, the Harrell Caudill Memorial Bridge (Pond Creek Bridge) in Pike County

Whether used in a classroom, at a community event, or at home, Explore Engineering: Bridges offers a fun way for kids to learn how engineering shapes the world around them.

We hope this new resource inspires future bridge builders, designers, and problem solvers to keep asking questions, exploring new ideas, and discovering the exciting world of engineering.
